Quick Ratio: Cash and marketable securities plus receivables divided by current liabilities (debt) for a given corporation. It is a measure of a company's liquidity. Also called an acid-test ratio. Quotation: The bid and offer being quoted by a market maker or broker-dealer for a specific security. The highest bid and lowest offer is called the inside quote. Quote Spread: The difference between the bid and offer sides of a quote. |
